soul squad demo (thesis edition)

soul squad is a text-heavy coming of age adventure mystery about growing up while trying to exist in two different worlds.

hi! for my thesis i decided to use the time and resources to work on this game- this demo is subtitled THESIS EDITION because its release is based not on level of completion but on the end of the semester.

story mode- clicking this will start the game from its very beginning, where you can read through all of the written story so far (and meet the characters!) you can hit space or click the screen to advance the visual novel.

play mode- clicking this will skip the story and allow you to try the turn-based combat system. you can use WASD to move around.

this is a mega-early stage demo and any and all gameplay feedback/concrit is welcome. <3
